Mr. Legg's Conservation Science class hosted the first EHS Big Buck Contest this year!
Congratulations to Izabelle Beekman on winning the 2025 EHS Big Buck Contest with her 8-point buck with a final score of 123 1/8"!! Izabelle will receive a SITKA prize pack and custom Yeti.

The Eastern Local Schools After School Intervention Program will begin tonight 1/13/26. Students who are enrolled will be dismissed at 4:50pm. You may reach the school at 740 226-6402 with any questions or transportation changes during this time. Pick ups will be at the same location you would normally pick up your child. Door 22 for elementary and door 6 for middle school and high school.

Congratulations to varsity cross country coach, Corey Culbertson, for being awarded the OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award! Coach Culbertson has been the head coach of the cross country program for eight years and has developed a culture of positivity, integrity, and respect, and has been an excellent leader and mentor for our student-athletes. We’re going to Italy in Summer 2027, and YOU are invited!
There will be a brief informational meeting for Juniors only on Friday, January 9th during Advisor in Miss Daniels room. On Wednesday January 14th, at 7:00pm, Junior students and parents/guardians are welcomed to attend an in-depth meeting regarding the Italy 2027 trip in the Platform Room.
We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we are planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. In this information session on Wednesday, January 14th, at 7:00pm, we will talk about:
-How this opportunity will benefit your student
-What we will see and do on the trip
-Everything that is included in this experience
-How we are keeping this safe and affordable
-How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up)
